URGENT CARE's sound has been described as a tense, post-punk disarray of chaos - cohering into a bracing friction that's both expansive and abrasive.  The trio's singular approach carves out a space that is both intimate and overwhelming, delicate and thunderous.

URGENT CARE formed in 2018 within the confines of the desert wasteland known as the Inland Empire.  The group consists of Sergio Camarena (guitar/vocals),  Mario De La Cruz (bass), and Oscar Ruvalcaba (drums), and now resides in and performs throughout Los Angeles.  They sink their roots into the pre-existing experience of Camarena and De La Cruz, who played together in an Indie/Post-Punk group prior to their current formation.  During their career, they released a slew of singles with sounds ranging from Post-Punk, Noise-Rock, and Shoegaze, characterized by a fusion of heaviness and sound experimentation.  Since their inception, URGENT CARE have explored terrains of experimental rock with a clear focus on the key principles: space, volume, and raw emotion. The essence of URGENT CARE's magic has always been the way they balance these dynamics, and particularly how much sheer power comes from the beautifully quiet moments. The trio's singular approach carves out a space that is both intimate and overwhelming, delicate and thunderous.

URGENT CARE's latest EP titled CRASHING (2026) presents itself as a journey of great emotional intensity that combines powerful and intimate atmospheres, an expression of a band that is constantly growing artistically.  The trio entered the studio with broader concepts and themes in mind, but with the help of engineer Chris King (COLD SHOWERS/KAI TAK) the group was able to find and hone in on their style of Post-Punk.  Recorded at Moon Palace in the summer of 2025, CRASHING finds the band steering the 4-track EP to a punishing volume, but with an extremely evocative aesthetic landscape that pushes the listener into a deep dive and a personal interpretation of their sound.
